Just for laughs

I know that some of you may not approve, but she insisted.

Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail.........

I love this time of year. Spring is in the air, there is chocolate everywhere, and my girls got to get dressed up in their Sunday best.

Happy Easter!

Audrey awoke to her abundantly filled Easter basket.

And as with all things, she had to sort the contents before playing with them.

Olivia looked on with envy as her Easter basket only contained a jar of baby food and 1 chocolate egg.(Which she had to surrender to her big sis anyway.)

Before getting ready, I couldn't resist playing around with Olivia's wet hair. Nana thinks that she looks like a greaser from the 1950's.

Too cute for words!

On the hunt

Oh sweet baby girl!

Let's get caught up!

I know that it has been a little while, so let me fill you in on what we have been up to these past few months.

We celebrated Christmas!

Scrooge

Santa's Merry Helpers?

It really did become comical - Olivia either frowned or cried for every Christmas picture we took.

We tried to survive the winter - with fun :)

Audrey and her best play pal "princess" Jackson.

Hey good looking!

Audrey at Auntie Kara's birthday party with some amazing face painting.

Um....... at a loss for words.

Audrey put on a lovely tea party and was kind enough to invite her little sister Olivia.

"No tea for me thank you"

Nothing like a good nap with Daddy.

Olivia at 4 months.

"Well hello there!"

Sisterly love

Olivia's first taste of rice cereal. (Much to our surprise, our always hungry girl took awhile to warm up to the new addition to her menu.)

Better weather arrived, so we busted out for some outside time at the zoo.

Ummmmm.......

"I'm outta here!"

Olivia at 5 months playing in her jumperoo.

Then the first day of spring arrived, and it was beautiful!

Monkeying around with Miles and Kate at the zoo.

I give up!

Okay there has to be time for me to update this month. But just in case -  I put in a cute Easter background to buy myself some more time.

I know I've been a slacker...........

I know what you're thinking: "Aarin Thanksgiving was months ago, hasn't anything else happened in your life that is worth documenting?" Well yes, that is exactly the reason why you are still seeing the same old pictures if you have been visiting our blog. (Though many of you may have abandoned us. I don't blame you, it is boring.) Much has happened in our life life these past few months. So much in fact, that I have not had any time to update our posts. I promise to do so before our new Valentines Day background is no longer applicable.

Turkey Day

This year Audrey was old enough to sit at the kids table with all of her cousins. She loved the fact that her Mommy and Daddy were not with her to nag her about eating her vegies. She chose to make her own sandwich with the dinner rolls, turkey, and of course the cranberry sauce!

After dinner Audrey spent some time jammin with her Daddy on the video game Rock Band.

We closed the evening with some family pictures to celebrate Olivia's first Thanksgiving. After many tries we were somewhat successful. (We will take what we can get)

Maybe we won't be sending out a Christmas photo card this year after all!

Olivia's first Thanksgiving

New Do

After months of contiplation we decided that it was time to bid farewell to Audrey's long hair. We planned a special day with her Nana at her "big girl" salon. Here is her "before" picture.

While waiting for her name to be called, Audrey wanted to read a magazine like the other women in the waiting area. I wonder if she agrees with this years pick for "Sexiest Man Alive" (Mommy does not).

Let the transformation begin!

She was so patient, and kept very still. (An amazing accomplishment for any 3 year old)

Almost done!

Here is her "after" picture. I think that she likes it!

Audrey and her Nana after their day of beauty.

Audrey wanted to keep posing for more pictures with her new hair. This one is a favorite.
